  ABOUT CHRISTIAN WUSHU FELLOWSHIP

Serving to the
Community
Through Teaching
& Performance Since

1993

Welcome to the Christian Wushu Fellowship Website, Our school is located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Christian Wushu Fellowship offers martial arts training in the Chinese martial arts of Wushu (Six Harmony and Modern Competition styles), Tai Chi (Taiji or Tai Chi Chuan) in the Wu, Yang and Chen family styles and Wing Chun Kung Fu (Yung Chun or Ving Tsun) from the Yip Man/Moy Yat lineage. Currently, Christian Wushu Fellowship has instructors each dedicated to provide a high quality of teaching the Chinese Martial arts that they have specialized in. Classes are available for Men, Women and Children.

CWF is Proud to Partner with Emplion World Lion Craft Trading in providing Lions for CWF's Christian Lion Dance Programs

The Christian Wushu Fellowship (CWF) is founded on the Biblical principles of God's Word, and sharing the Chinese culture through the Chinese Martial Arts.Christian Wushu Fellowship (CWF) is a non-denominational organization which is health-oriented and focuses on all the values of Christ. The goal of this fellowship is to provide a chance for Christians and/or non-Christians to get together and have a great time. We stress the fundaments of Chinese Martial Arts and, at most times, would apply some of
the theories or philosophies into our daily lives. CWF provides instruction in the Chinese Martial Arts of
Wushu, Tai Chi, and Wing Chun .

The teachers of the Christian Wushu Fellowship believe that through the Chinese Martial arts, students will learn the core tenets of RESPECT and DISCIPLINE.
It is critical for students to learn Respect on three levels: (1) Respect for their teacher (Elders), (2) Respect for the school (Home), (3) Respect towards fellow students (family/society). As the student learns respect, they will also learn the art of Discipline, through training, students will learn Discipline in three levels: (1) Discipline of one's actions (physical), (2) Discipline of one's words and thoughts (mental), (3) Discipline of one's emotions and spirit (spirit). It is important that Respect and Discipline are trained together, not separate. If a student learns only Discipline, they learn only to follow rules without respect for the rules, but with Respect and Discipline, a student will desire to follow the rules, and will be able to apply the tenets of Respect and Discipline at school, at home and in society.

The mission of CWF is to: Promote and Maintain Good Health, Preserve the Chinese Martial Arts, Encourage Humbleness, Restore Family Values and Witness the Gospel through Chinese Martial Arts.

CWF is a member of the
Canadian Chinese KuoShu Federation and the Canadian Taichi Federation

OPEN HOUSE 2:00PM @ 201 TEMPO AVENUE: AUGUST 23, 2008

You and your friends are cordially invited to join the Christian Wushu Fellowship (CWF) & Hua Xing Chinese School “Open House”. This is a new attempt to combine both Wushu & Chinese School performances together.

Toronto Youth “Chinese Martial and Cultural Arts”

The Christian Wushu Fellowship and the Hua Xing Chinese School are pleased to present a one-of-a-kind performance in Toronto to celebrate the beauty of traditional Chinese martial arts, culture and civilization in Canada.
The study of Chinese martial arts promotes physical and mental health and
provides an insight into an important part of Chinese culture. The equally
important study of Chinese cultural arts leads to a deeper understanding and
appreciation of Chinese civilization and history. Both arts practice discipline and respect while educating students about Chinese traditions in a practical learning environment.

CWF and Hua Xing Chinese School would like to share this opportunity to experience both aspects of Chinese culture in this unique event through a number of performances and presentations.

Please join us for what promises to be a fun and enlightening experience for all!
